First up, promotions! haven't done that for a while.
no new members either. should get in some fresh talent.
so first up, is Ichabot/Synyster6661/Kenny!!!
We went on a school trip of sorts to KL for a week.
Mostly we did outdoor stuff like rock climbing, rafting etc.
During abseiling, the key is to keep your legs apart.
This prevents you from spinning - and hitting the side of the cliff. ow.
and he forgot, and spun. a bit.
just a few cm away from the wall.
and.... he licked it.
yup. he licked the rock.
and he said it was salty.

much later, we were doing an obstacle course in Eagle Ranch, Port Dickson.
there was a mud pit we had to wade through.
it wasn't watery, mind you, it was THICK AND SLIMY.
and he went a bit too close.
and...well...
he said it tasted better than the rock.

Therefore, he is promoted to Platinum with Dishonor!
Platinum can be given immediately for performing feats others wouldn't want to try.
Dishonor? He didn't save some for us. LOL. HAHAHA

It's a...symphonic metal band.
basically, they play symphonies. and metal. at the same time.
not really metal. much softer, a bit of rock and instrumental too.
sounds spastic, but actually is quite good.
although they're split into two kinds...
the old albums has a singer who belongs in opera, rather than in a band.
the new album (Dark Passion Play) has a normal singer.
listen to the difference and you'll know.
besides, a lot of piano and no screaming/shouting/yelling at all from what i heard.

speaking of bands, there are two music based competitions coming up.

One, there is the Battle of the Bands.
Held in Singapore at some international school.
More details later, I don't know if entry is over or not.

I don't know. But there are 3 of us. All guitarists.
If we make it through the auditions, I'll ROFLMAOL all the way home.
