went out to watch Transformers 2 a while ago.
At first, I was like, meh.
Then the motorcycle scene. I gave the film 10/10.
Then..the museum. When the army guy went to change.
The rating dropped straight down to 7/10. Damn, that was horrible.

Did you know the memory span of a goldfish is 3 seconds?
I'm proud to say me and Street2fifa broke that record.
By one whole second.

See, we were at the Woodlands library (in singapore)
He leaned over and said, "Eh, you know ah..."

A librarian walked past and said, "Quiet, please". To the whole row of people.

I looked at him. "What?"
He said..."I forget liao"

..ownage. OWNAGE.
I swear, ownage.

and here's some background information.
For a while, I noticed some strange stuff happening between us Platinums.

I would think of calling Bugs, then when I reach for the phone, it rings.
Guess who? Bugs.
Someone asks me and Dumbortz a question.
We both reply at the same time. Word for word.
And it happens with a few of us too. Not just one or two.

I put it down to familiarity.
After all, great minds think alike, do they not? XD

then one day...
this dude called Ben asked me to go to the library to study.
Several days in fact, but I was only free on one.
He came a little late. 10 minutes off, in fact.
His mother dropped us off at the side.
We wondered where to have breakfast. McDonalds? KFC? some kopitiam?
we chose McDs, and even after we finished, we stoned for a while.
Then, we left and walked towards the library.

one day...
Street2fifa went to school for CCA.
The guard told him it was closed for the holidays due to swine flu.
So he was stuck with nothing to do.
So what did he decide to do? Wonder of wonders. Go to the library.
He could walk, or take a bus. Or take a bus from the opposite bus stop.
He took the bus from the opposite stop. (slightly different route, maybe faster)
He got off, walked towards the library.

and BLAM, we saw each other.
Now think about this.
If I had gone on another day, left earlier, eaten somewhere else, hadn't stoned...
If Twit had gone for CCA, gone home or took different transport...
A difference of ten seconds would be enough. We wouldn't have met at all.
There was also the time when I saw him at the dentist.
He had rescheduled his appointment.
I was late. By half an hour.

Something screwy is going on.

There's more.
I met Halodude at Msia immigration once.
I fell asleep at the flat, so I was returning later.
He had some stuff after school, so he was too.
We went to studio last Saturday.
I forgot to tell them that Yan Feng couldn't make it.
And Dumbortz brought a friend along. a DRUMMER.

Coincidence? or conspiracy?
It happens very often.
Coincidences do not normally occur often.
And if it were a conspiracy, that would be pretty stupid.
The only people with a likely reason to conspire for us to meet...
would be us, of course.
So unless all of us have memory lapses, split personalities and dementia..
(hey. don't look at me. I'm innocent)
There has to be an underlying reason for this.

Suddenly, I thought of it.

Telepathy??

Could we have developed some psychic connection between our minds?
That makes us do stuff subconciously? Without us realizing the purpose?
So I got kinda excited for a while.

Then today, I called Bugs.

JA: Hey man.
Bugs: Hey. So, confirmed. Tomorrow afternoon?
JA: Yeah. Holy shit. How did you know what I was going to ask you?
Bugs: I dunno.
JA: See, freakin telepathy. Hehe.
Bugs: Oh, Wen Long is coming. He asked what time to meet.
JA: ...Wen Long? He's coming? For what?
Bugs: Umm he said he wanted to go.
JA: But he doesn't play anything does he? Or does he want to stone at the studio?
Bugs: I'm talking about cinema. Oh wait, I forgot. You already watched Transformers.
JA:.....
Bugs: So much for telepathy.

Get the picture?

But I figured out, this should be totally normal.
If we had some measure of telepathy, it would be affected a bit. Ok, a lot.
Cuz retards + telepathy = some pretty interesting shit, eh?

Hence, I coined the term.
Retarlepathy!!! (or Twitpathy XD)

besides, the FOA is off this year.
3 reasons.
1)o's are starting to really piss me off.
(parents la..as usual. but this is the only time where I don't feel injustice)
2)yan feng has exams in july. screwed up Omega timetable..
3)Our bassist has no bass of his own. He borrowed one.
heard that reuts is a fast learner but he can't keep the bass and amp forever...
i hope so though XD

so we're going to start a few band related side projects
one would be obviously to cover some songs...the range has increased now.
and we were thinking of making a Tenacious D cover. Music, video and all.
but that will take some time. and a lot of ingenuity.

so I guess patience is in order.
not that I have lots of it anyway.
I miss the good ol' days though.
Think I'm goin off to listen to Shadows and Regrets by Yellowcard.
one of the few songs I find really meaningful.
wish we'll have Left 4 Dead at JP and MP and AP.
wish Jackie will get a double bass pedal for his drum set.
